Hi everyone, my name is Sharon and I am the founder of Yeti Originals.

I have been a crafter and artist for most of my life. I started with knitting which my mum taught me when I was 6 or 7. I still sometimes get the needles out today - it is a great way to relax!

Over the years I have tried many crafts and worked with many materials.

My art and paintings are generally quite abstract - I live for colour and texture and movement. I went through a stage of painting emotions - attempting to create abstract artwork designed to evoke feelings/emotions (note to self, I need to get back to that - so many ideas and so little time :-))

At the moment, I am enjoying working with resin and also FDM 3d printing. I find being able to design and 3d print many types of objects as a base for resin or other art very exciting. I enjoy resin because of its fluid and organic nature and the versatility to make so many additions, such as pigments, inks, glitters, flowers, beads etc.... On the other hand, I have also studied technical drawing and architecture, and creating designs in 3D CAD software appeals to my structural and technical/mathematical side.

I enjoy acrylic paint pouring and working with mixed media (alkyd) paints - similar to resin the creative chaos of using materials that often take on a life of their own I find endlessly inspiring.

Well that is me - an eclectic combination of artist and maker and frustrated architect (I pander to those cravings with meccano and Lego technic in my spare time!).
